All Things Pink

Ok. It's time for a frivalous post. Pink marshmallows were a hit...and so easy! Easier than melting that white chocolate which I still haven't attempted again because I have neither a glass bowl or a double boiler. Still I have to try it again before the party. It's getting to be crunch time!

All things pink are filling up my dining room. Butterflies are strung. Tulle pom poms have been made and are hanging all over the place. More on those later. Turned out so nice I am thinking of selling them on Etsy.

Found this fab designer of party goods that does DIY Printables. So, So cute! Check out the water bottle labels I ordered and printed:
Is that cute or what? I am tinkled, ahem, pink!
Next up was to find fairy picks. I found these and loved them except I really wished there was an Asian fairy in the bunch. Not even one with dark hair. SOOOO....
I improvised. A little black Sharpie did the job and now I have a complete set of adorable, retro-looking black haired fairies. I am just ga-ga over them!
Dollar store napkin holders that have been in my drawer for eons got a little make-over
They are now all shades of pink and loaded with glitter
Ruby got in on the action and painted a couple herself. Did a good job, too!
She also enjoyed playing with the first couple pom poms I made. After the party, I'm gonna decorate her bedroom with them. So fun! I think Jeff may be excited just to have the dining room table back soon as it looks like a craft station right now. :-)  Ha! Wait till the party! There will be pink tulle, satin, ribbon, glitter and flowers everywhere!  I just can't wait for this party. I want it to be the most magical day for her ever!

Marvelous party planning Jen. I am certain that Ruby will have a fabulous birthday and it will be a fairytale in the making. I love the fairies.

Wow, this is being to be a pinkalicious party. Everything is gorgeous.
When I don't feel like doing the double boiler for melting white chocolate I use the microwave. I use white chocolate chips in a glass bowl and add a couple of drops (literally drops) of olive oil. It keeps the chocolate smooth and it never sticks together in a claggy dry lump.
