Happy Easter & Thai New Year

A rather untraditional Easter this year. We did the bunny visits last week. We did the egg hunt yesterday.  Went to church in the morning then hit the Thai temple by noon. Easter and Songkran (Thai New Year) fell on the same day this year. Was not thrilled at 1st, but we made it work. Was so great to see some friends of our at the temple and it was a gorgeous day to be outside. We had planned on eating a big Thai lunch there, but it was so crowded (and had started hours earlier) they were out of food till we got there! Craving some yummy Thai food (and with no plan in place for Easter dinner) we hit our favorite local Thai restaurant and feasted. Now we are back home and just hanging out. Grateful for the promise of Spring, the beautiful day, the kind friends, and the gift of family.
