Life's A Beach!

Wonderful family vacation. I could go on and on about it, but the pics will show it best. Ruby loved the beach and the waves. Was a little hot and pouty in the afternoons on the really hot days. And we had some HOT days, but overall it was nice and she did really great, slept great, and enjoyed her time with Grammy, Pappy, and Dailan.
All of us heading to the beach the first day.
First steps on the sand!

Loved the waves immediately.
Crabbing with the boys. How sweet is this moment?
Chilling on the beach.
Enthralled with Grammy's fashion magazine and enjoying snuggling up with her.
Love these shots. She's become quite the Daddy's girl lately. It is so sweet to see!
Fishing with Pappy.
Taking a walk on the beach with my daughter. An incredible yet simple thing I waited so long to do. Priceless moments!
Giraffic ensemble from Gymboree. Ruby works it to the max!
Sleepy girl looks like she may throw something at me if I take one more picture.
Luckily, the sand suddenly became amusing again.  :-)
Cute old fashioned rides at Rehobeth Beach boardwalk.
Loved the rides, of course, but her face was so funny on some of the kiddie rides. Like she was perfectly bored. Once we got her on the fast rides with Pa she was thrilled.

I'll leave you with some fun videos we took during the hottest of days. It was so hot this particular day that we couldn't even eat or go outside. So we cracked open some wine, cooked up some great food and entertained each other. Ruby was our greatest entertainment, of course. Here is her rendition of the chicken dance:

This is vacation to the max. I love Ruby walking across the sand on tiptoes. And I'm totally digging her brown/white suit with matching hat. So envious!

Did you notice she's in a yellow boat in a yellow dress and pink outfit on a pink horse. You've even got her matching the scenery now!

LOL Jess! SHE actually does that! I have totally noticed her to play with toys or pick things that match her outfit that day. It's scary how much she was meant to be my daughter!
