Gorgeous photo! I missed the royal affair last week and soooo wish I would have remembered and watched! It was a big night for me last Thursday as it was my first overnight away since bringing Ruby home. I went to NYC to see some good friends I haven't seen for a long time. Three of us had an awesome dinner at Sushi Samba (Yum! Never disappoints!) and then I met another friend, Christine, at her hotel and stayed there overnight. Thought my heart was gonna break when Ruby & Jeff dropped me off at the train station! But I must admit I did end up having a real nice time. It was good to just have a girls night and I needed it. Ruby didn't do too bad either. A little break down b4 bed which lead to them to calling me and me singing a lullaby to her...and then she was calm. Jeff got her down by 9:30 to my surprise and she slept all night! In the morning, they watched the royal wedding together. Aww. Jeff said she was really into it. And what did my sweet girl keep saying? "Look it's Mommy!" hahaha. You gotta love a child's sweet (blind) love. :-) Wonder what she thought then of Mommy with a prince that's not Daddy? hahaha. Of course, she always tells me that Daddy is HER prince. Sweet!

oh glad you enjoyed your night away....sounds so fun!!
I know that heart breaking thing when they drop you....oh it is overwhelming. But sounds like she did just as well as you and she got to see the wedding. Sweet that Jeff remembered and watched it with her.
She is such a funny, sweet girl....man we are blessed, and hope this mother's day weekend has you enjoying your beautiful family.
Becky and her friends go to Sushi Samba all the time. I know this because I see the charges--all the time--on her bank account statement. Aren't college students supposed to eat Ramen??
SO impressed that you had a night away and that Ruby slept so well. Hurray for both of you!
Sweet Ruby, seeing her mommy in every princess!! Too cute! I also missed the wedding on TV since I had my own party to organize for the girls 9th.
Wow, going away for the first time is something I remember vividly, so hard!! But you did well!
Awwwww, sweet Ruby!
